Межкультурная компетентность как предиктор адаптации иностранных студентов (на примере представителей стран центрального азиатского региона)

Аннотация
В статье представлены результаты эмпирического исследования, направленного на выявление роли межкультурной компетентности как предиктора успешности социально-психологической и академической адаптации иностранных студентов из стран Центрального Азиатского региона (ЦАР) – Казахстана, Кыргызстана, Таджикистана, Туркменистана и Узбекистана. Объем выборки составил 106 человек. Проведен корреляционный анализ, выявивший статистически значимые положительные связи между показателями межкультурной компетентности и различными аспектами адаптации. Результаты исследования подтверждают гипотезу о межкультурной коммуникации как важном предикторе адаптационного потенциала студентов из ЦАР. При этом выявлены некоторые специфические особенности связи компонентов межкультурной компетентности с адаптационными параметрами. Полученные данные подчеркивают необходимость целенаправленного развития межкультурной компетентности в программах поддержки иностранных студентов из ближнего зарубежья.
