Abstract

Ureterovaginal fistulas became known in the middle of this century and Simon was the first to describe such a fistula. Since then, according to Hochstetler, 39 cases have been described. In 23 - the cause of the fistula was difficult childbirth, in 10 - complete uterine dissection, in the rest, it was pelvic abscesses, then prolonged wearing of a pesary, etc.
