In eight recent cases, we undertook a bacteriological study of the contents of the uterine cavity in order to determine whether there were endometritis, which we treated with tamponation. septic and the presence of any pathogenic microorganisms, they were determined. Pursuing this goal exclusively, we left aside the types of microorganisms, which, in terms of the growth of colonies, in terms of their relation to the nutrient medium, and in other characteristics, did not resemble streptococci, staphylococci or saprophytes.
