COMPLIANCE OF THE FEDERAL LAW ON HEALTH PROTECTION OF CITIZENS, WITH the standards and principles of bioethics

Abstract

The Federal Law On Health Protection of Citizens summarizes the achievements in the field of bioethics as applied to national health care model. The main benefit of this Law is its focus on the protection of patients' rights, the validation of the principle of the patient autonomy respect. A skewed attitude to the rights of medical personnel, inadequate interpretation of medical errors is ethically unreasonable. But, on the whole, this Law has great moral potential to become an effective tool in the organization of the health protection of Russian citizens.
