In the given article is analyzed the influence of energy resources on geopolitical interests and foreign policy of Russia. The authors consider geopolitical competition of the great powers in Eurasian continent as determined mostly by struggle for control over energy resources. The authors also analyze foreign policy of Russian Federation as a tool of standing up national interests. The authors state that foreign policy of the great nations is becoming more and more determined by demand of energy resources.

Strategic Analysis and Prognosis of Political Processes

The article is devoted to the methodology of evaluation and prognosis of political processes and actions in the context of situational and system analysis. The authors propose the model of determination of role political action, which includes several levels: 1) institutional (economical, political and social environment); 2) organizational (structure, non-formal relations, informational processes in institutesand organizations); 3) administrative (administrative environment of organization); 4) groups - parameters and features of contact groups; 5) personal (subjective meanings, values and motives of political actions).

Specific Features and the Current State of the World Politics as a Science and as an Academic Discipline in China
Resumo
History of research of the international politics in China is not very long. But in the past decade, with the rise of China's international status, this sphere has obtained an unprecedented development in China. Chinese institutions of higher education make a great effort to promote its development. Not only making a substantial increase in the number of students in this major, but also promoting the study of international issues to a climax. Main characteristics of the international political studies in China are: Chinese scholars pay close attention to the hot issues of contemporary international issues; work closely with the forefront research theories; the scope of the study involves all aspects. In addition to these, Chinese scholars are diligently deriving strength from the Chinese traditional culture through the development of the «harmonious world theory». At the same time, the author also points out some problems that exist in this research domain.

Political socialization means something more than political context of socialization. Study in political socialization must be oriented on political socialization as special science category with own history, opening by the logic of Homo politicus being content of political socialization. Homo politicus, rationalized and ideologized in its version, means technological view on the problem of political socialization.
