The scientific journal "The Unknown Dostoevsky" was founded on July 12, 2013, on the initiative of the members of the board of the International Dostoevsky Society: Deborah Martinsen (Columbia University, USA), William Mills Todd III (Harvard University, USA), Vladimir Zakharov (Petrozavodsk University, Russian Federation). It has been published since 2014. The editorial board and editorial council include leading scholars from around the world, researchers of the biography and work of F. M. Dostoevsky, and the editorial board includes specialists from the Petrozavodsk textological school.
