Abstract

The article sets out to consider the nominative and interpretative aspects of the poetic word. The undertaken linguo-cognitive analysis of youth poetry takes into account social and linguistic parameters of the socio-communicative group that comprises people familiar with works by young authors. The analysis serves to reveal the following linguistic distinctions: contextual interpretations result from inferences; precedent phenomena are used symbolically; widely employed stylistic repetitions contribute to meaning-making; a two-level dialogue - between the author and the reader, as well as between fictional characters - is constructed.
