Abstract

Culture codes is one of key notions in linguocultural studies: they form the taxonomic basis for the classification of the object and thus help to systematize the research. Practically all world spheres can be conceptualized as the signs of culture in natural languages. In this article we focus on the ability of linguistic culture codes to embrace different thematic spheres and discourses and to develop. The aspect of their universality vs. culturally specific characteristics is also considered.
