From a brief review of the study of metabolism in the maternity period (Winckel, Heinrichsen, Kleinwachter, Klemmer. Grammatikati, Reprev, etc.), the author deduces the conclusion that modern information about the metabolism in pregnant women, women in labor and parturient women is insufficient.
