Opinions of the authors about the possibility of direct infection of the vagina with gonorrhoid poison differ over this time. Most of them are inclined to think that infection of the vagina with gonorrhoid poison is possible only in children, pregnant women, in a word, in persons whose vagina is lined with a delicate epithelial cover that easily facilitates the penetration of gonococci in adults, between the inflammation as a non-epithelial epithelial vaginal .
