Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the formation of a database of recommendations for a software service aimed at the cognitive development of schoolchildren through a targeted selection of extracurricular activities. Based on a review of more than 3,000 scientific publications, key areas of activity contributing to the development of working memory, mental arithmetic and visual search have been identified. The mechanisms of the impact of various types of extracurricular activities on the cognitive functions of students are considered. A distinctive feature of the service is the integration of neuroimaging for an objective assessment of cognitive development and the formation of personalised recommendations. The presented approach demonstrates the potential of interdisciplinary interaction between neuroscience and education to optimise the educational process.
