Theme of the journal. The journal has a multidisciplinary focus, it is established to publish articles of social-humanitarian, physical and mathematical, and natural science profiles.

The preference is given to the original articles containing new results of the theoretical and applied research within the headings of the journal. The editorial welcomes the review articles containing the analysis of the modern Russian and foreign publications allowing assessment of the state of the problem under consideration.
All the articles submitted to the editorial must be reviewed (double-blind peer review); the manuscripts are not given back.
The manuscripts are published in the journal on a non-commercial basis.
The authors of the journal are young scientists from different scientific and educational organizations of Russia and foreign countries. The publication is intended for students, post-graduate students, research scholars, higher school lecturers, and all those who are interested in achievements of modern Russian science.

Policy of the journal. The aim of the journal is wide coverage and dissemination of scientific achievements of young scientists in various fields of modern science. The journal is aimed at stimulation and support of creative initiative of young scientists, active use of relevant methods of scientific activities. The important objective of the journal is publication of the results of scientific research undertaken within the framework of leading scientific directions of Derzhavin University.
The editorial may disagree with the point of view of the authors. The responsibility for the contents rests upon the author. The reference is obligatory when using the materials of the journal.

Interconnected teaching of language and culture on the example of Russian as a foreign language to students from Maghreb countries
Abstract
The relationship between the study of language and culture is considered using the example of Russian as a foreign language among students from the Maghreb countries. The relevance of the topic is justified by the necessity of deep understanding of cultural contexts for successful language acquisition. The cultural characteristics that influence the learning process are analyzed and approaches to teaching are proposed. Recommendations are also provided for introducing cultural elements into the educational process, which can help increase students’ motivation and improve their language learning results.

Abstract
The process of mathematical competencies formation within the framework of the secondary general education course by solving trigonometric problems is investigated. The main attention is paid to the methods’ and approaches’ analysis that contribute to the development of students’ critical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to apply mathematical knowledge in practical and theoretical situations. The trigonometric problems examples presented in the paper and strategies for solving them demonstrate effective ways to integrate theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The methodology of teaching grammatical perfect in two foreign languages studying within the school curriculum using the comparison example of English and German languages
Abstract
The problem of two foreign languages parallel study in the framework of the school curriculum is investigated. The English and German perfects are analyzed for their semantic and grammatical similarities and differences. A cognitive-communicative approach has been applied to use the information obtained during the analysis in practice. A possible variant of the exercise is proposed, aimed at understanding the difference in the use of grammatical categories in the languages under consideration.

Abstract
The rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies has a significant impact on various areas of our lives, including education. The integration of artificial intelligence technologies into language education opens up many new advantages, providing students with the opportunity to carry out foreign language written interaction with chatbots. The study analyzes the didactic properties of text chatbots when teaching a foreign language to students of a language university, as well as a comparative analysis of chatbots ChatGPT and Replika AI.

Public administration in the environmental protection and management area: challenges and prospects of legal regulation
Abstract
The problematic aspects of public administration in the area of environmental protection and management in the Russian Federation are discussed. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the regulation of the functions and powers of federal executive authorities and subjects’ executive authorities of the Russian Federation. The conclusions about the need for improvement in the approach to environmental management regulation in the Federal Law on Environmental Protection, the powers delineation between federal and regional executive authorities, and the specification and expansion of the regional state environmental monitoring objects list. The paper also presents the author’s perspective on achieving a balanced approach to environmental and economic interests.

Legal regulation problems of compulsory procedural participation in civil proceedings
Abstract
The legal regulation issues of mandatory procedural participation in civil proceedings are analyzed. The current legislation shortcomings in the mandatory participation area in the case of co-plaintiffs and co-defendants are considered. Recommendations are proposed for improving legal norms aimed at ensuring fairness and protecting the parties’ interests, which can ultimately contribute to improving the judicial protection quality.

Abstract
The main problems of judgments execution in civil and arbitration proceedings are considered. Special attention is paid to the issues of delaying the executive documents issuance and the entry into judicial acts force, the lack of property for debtors to recover and the regulatory regulation imperfection in this area. Recommendations are proposed to improve the enforcement system to ensure effective judicial protection of the of citizens’ and organizations’ rights.

Patronage among the officials of the Tambov province at the beginning of the 20th century
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze protectionism in the appointment of the Tambov province officials at the beginning of the 20th century based on the Tambov governor N.P. Muratov’s memoirs. The source base is the memoirs and form lists of officials, with the help of which their career appointments are analyzed and the assistance circumstances in making personnel decisions are noted. The conclusion is made about the high patronage importance within local governments.

Abstract
The problem of the soldiers number of the Foreign Army of Czechoslovakia (legionnaires) in the First Czechoslovak Republic is considered. The legislative acts defining the status of a legionnaire are analyzed. Criteria for measuring the number of legionnaires are considered. The assessment of Czech historiography in solving this problem is given.

The artificial intelligence technologies use in journalism
Abstract
Various neural networks used by AI to create visual media content are discussed. The research theoretical basis is made up of works in the following areas: ethical standards for the AI technologies use in the media and prospects for the neural networks use in journalism. The empirical basis of the study is more than a hundred materials published in the Southern News Service in 2024. In conclusion, it is concluded that neural networks can serve as a modern media tool to improve the quality of visual content, attract the attention of the audience and optimize editorial processes.

Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the role of radio in the regional media space. An attempt has been made to analyze some little-known facts from the history of radio as a mass media, focusing on the radio broadcasting characteristics. The radio journalism formation in Tambov region in comparison with other regions is considered, various archival data on radioification and the development of local radio edits are presented.

The latest scientific works devoted to the author’s song are considered. The emergence history of the interest in this genre from the science side has been studied. Abstract
The problem of forming the cultural code of the city with the help of a model is considered. Since architectural art is the most visible and attractive type, it is quite natural that it contributes to the development of the tourism sector. And the task of modeling is the most qualitative transfer of the appearance and proportions of an architectural structure, which contributes to a more accurate and emotional perception of a particular cultural space. However, it is important to understand the relevance and consequences of its collection in the tourist-inactive regions of the Russian Federation.
