Abstract
The issues of archives acquisition with various types of documentation in the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States are considered. The reasons for the change in the number of acquisition source institutions, as well as other challenges in archive activity are analyzed.

Revisiting the differentiation of access restrictions terms to archival documents containing information about a citizen’s personal and family secrets, his private life, as well as information that poses a threat to his safety
Abstract
The issues related the determination of access restrictions terms towards archival documents containing information about a citizen’s personal and family secrets, his private life, as well as information that poses a threat to his safety are discussed. For the first time, groups of information are identified, for which the access restrictions terms are be determined in accordance with legislative acts of other areas of regulation. The need for more specific consolidation in archival legislation of the types of information to which access should be restricted for a clearly defined period of time is being raised again, taking into account the timeframes for the creation of documents, many of which are already of exclusively historical significance.

Abstract
The research work of VNIIDAD on systematic review of GOST 7.0.97-2016 “System of standards on information, librarianship and publishing. Organizational and administrative documentation. Requirements for presentation of records” is presented. The changes made to the standard during its systematic review in 2016 are considered. A brief overview of the changes proposed in the new version of the standard, the approval of which is planned for the first half of 2025, is given.

The projects of archival industry digital transformation, implemented via the Unified Archival Information System of the Republic of Tatarstan are presented. Record keeping rationalization in the People’s Commissariat of finance of the USSR in the 1920s
Abstract
The directions of record keeping rationalization in various departments of the People’s Commissariat of Finance of the USSR and their subordinate organizations based on documents from the funds of the Russian State Archive of Economics are considered. Special attention is focused on record keeping instructions of the departments of the People’s Commissariat of finance of the USSR. The advantages and disadvantages of centralized and unregistered record keeping system are presented.
