Potential of applying artificial intelligence technologies for teaching English language pragmatics
Abstract
The aim of this work is to study the potential of using artificial intelligence technologies in teaching pragmatics of a foreign language (using the example of English). Two proposed main ways to use chat bots for teaching foreign language pragmatics are: (1) the use of a neural network by a teacher to design a task for practicing pragmatic skills, (2) direct interaction between a student and a chatbot under the guidance of a teacher. The given examples of using ChatGPT indicate the possibility of teaching various pragmatic markers, such as the politeness marker and the mitigation marker.

Abstract
The value of humour from the position of its educational potential in teaching the mentality of another culture is considered. Various comedy media and works of British culture: films, books, internet memes are analysed. Examples of using humour as a teaching tool in English classes for the purpose of development and formation of multicultural personality in the learner are given.

Abstract
The study examines the methodological aspects of teaching listening, identifies and describes the features of teaching a foreign language to junior schoolchildren, and analyzes the requirements for teaching them auditing activities. An attempt has been made to reveal the potential of Internet resources as a way to enhance the listening skills of younger schoolchildren. The role of video in teaching foreign language listening to primary schoolchildren has been also explored.

Development of sociocultural and intercultural competences in teaching linguistics students a second foreign language (French) on the basis of the first foreign language (English)
Abstract
The features of teaching linguistics students a second foreign language on the basis of the first foreign language are considered. The fact that the peculiarities of development of sociocultural and intercultural competencies among students learning French after English are reflected in the influence of such factors as perception, stereotyping (stereotypes), and ethnocentrism is analyzed. Using examples of tasks, the potential for using modern technologies and learning models within the framework of comparative analysis of the cultures of countries where the studied languages are spoken is considered.

The research examines the structure of developing students’ writing skills in primary school, identifies and describes the features of writing in English, and examines the possibilities and prospects for using multimedia technologies to teach writing skills to primary school students. Involvement of minors in terrorist activities
Abstract
The problems of involving minors in terrorist activities, the consequences of this phenomenon for both society and the state as a whole are considered. It is noted that there is a need to intervene in this legal category by introducing rehabilitation programs and other preventive measures in order to eliminate its further development. The role of social networks in the formation of radical views among young people, peer pressure and ideological propaganda is also analyzed. In conclusion, the study offers recommendations on preventing the involvement of minors in terrorist activities and reducing the crime rate for this category.

Abstract
Various aspects of the death penalty are investigated, including the history of its existence, the legal aspects of applying it, and the consequences it has on society. Different points of view are considered on this topic, with arguments both for and against abolishing the moratorium on capital punishment. The opinions of prominent politicians on the issue are analyzed.

Agricultural machinery and implements in the economy of a large landowning farms in Russia at the end of the 19th – early 20th century
Abstract
The peculiarities of technical modernization of the landowning economy, the issues of organization of purchases of agricultural machinery and tools in the Russian Empire in the late 19 – early 20 century are analyzed. The use of agricultural machinery in the context of the problem of the ratio of the cost of hiring labor force is characterized. It is shown that at the beginning of the twentieth century the landed estates achieved considerable success in the matter of technical modernization. The economies were replenished with expensive domestic and foreign-made machinery, mechanization of the main spheres of landlord production was increased. At the same time, the dynamics of consumption and use of the latest equipment depended on the size of estates.

Abstract
The problem of responsibility is considered from the point of view of the formation of the concept in the history of philosophy, as well as the relevance of the problem today. Some philosophical ideas concerning the problem of responsibility are outlined. On this basis the role and significance of responsibility in the sphere of art, the specificity of understanding responsibility as a combination of aesthetic and moral are revealed. Secular and religious approaches to the theme of human responsibility from the sphere of art are exemplified.

Abstract
The place of a personal brand in the context of the general mediatization of public spheres is considered, as well as the strengthening of the media role in a person’s life, his professional recognition. The media person formation, together with the consolidation of competition in professional spheres, marked a new round of research and practical interest in the problems of building a media image, forming a personal brand, and reputation management. The perspective of studying the nature of the influence and interrelation of the personal brand of the first person (corporate leader) and the corporate brand, the interrelation of the reputations of the personal and collective brand (reputation transfer) is outlined.

Abstract
The study of ways to translate the colorative vocabulary in the names of cosmetics is presented. Typological, introspective and logical comparison methods are used as the main research methods. According to the results of the study, it is revealed that a limited number of translation methods are used when translating the names of cosmetics, and this is dictated by the realities of the market and globalization.

The aim of the study is to investigate the role of literary context in a novel, which is shaped by the setting of the novel and the study environment of the characters – Philology Faculty at Moscow State University. Abstract
Представлены результаты изучения социально-психологического представления студентов о настоящем и будущем. Выявлено, что они характеризуются чувством страха, неудовлетворенности в настоящем. Эти результаты могут быть связаны со снижением общего уровня удовлетворенности жизнью. При этом присутствует оптимистичный прогноз на будущее, уверенность в своих силах и возможностях. Сделан вывод, что студенты, осознающие зависимость между своими действиями и последствиями, готовы анализировать свое поведение, искать причины трудностей в самих себе.

Transient ischemic attack as a predictor of ischemic stroke development
Abstract
The incidence of stroke is increasing every year; 9.6 million cases of stroke are predicted annually in the world, with 85 % of cases being ischemic stroke. The purpose of the work is to study the prevalence of transient ischemic attacks preceding ischemic strokes. To determine the risk of stroke after transient ischemic attack, a retrospective analysis of medical records and electronic medical records data of 53 patients with ischemic stroke is conducted. It is found that the risk of developing ischemic stroke immediately after transient ischemic attack is very high.

The impact of initiative budgeting on changing of budget policy priorities using the exam-ple of the Saratov region
Abstract
The concept of initiative budgeting is considered. The development of this type of practice in Russia, their impact and importance for the budget process of Russian Federation are investigated. The most successful examples of initiative budgeting projects are studied. The main stages of initiative budgeting and the most common criteria for selecting projects for participation in the program are described. The number dynamics of initiative budgeting projects in Russia is analyzed and the structure of financing initiative projects is studied using the example of the Saratov region.

Geographical determinism is a scientific field that studies the influence of geographical factors on the formation of various social systems. The modern banking system state of Russia in the conditions of changing economic situation and the influence of the latest technologies is investigated. The trends in the banking industry are analyzed: the decreasing number of banks and growing competition from fintech companies. It is concluded that the most cost-effective way of interaction between banks and fintech companies is partnership, which allows banks to introduce innovations and startups to receive funding and develop.
